MECA's roots in Charlotte date back almost
sixty years when Robert H. "Bob" Pressley established
a real estate company with the purchase of a single house
and two vacant lots. Bob's son, Anthony "Tony" Pressley
took the reins in 1980.
He was later joined by his brother Robert
M. Pressley and together, they have grown the company into
a multifaceted commercial and residential real estate practice

which includes services in the areas of brokerage, management
and development.
Tony's son Robert A. Pressley, who represents
the third generation of Pressley family to enter the business,
joined the commercial division in 1992. After ten years of
practicing commercial brokerage he took responsibility for
that area of the company and on January 1, 2003, successfully
purchased the rights to Coldwell Banker Commercial for the
Charlotte region and converted MECA Properties' commercial
brokerage division into Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA.
Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA, a wholly
owned subsidiary of MECA Real Estate Services, LLC, specializes
in the sale, lease and management of commercial and investment
real estate in the Charlotte region. The strategic combination
