A graduate of Florida State University, Jay Vaughn joined the Commercial Brokerage Division of MECA Real Estate Services, LLC (MECA Properties) in 2002.  Licensed since 1994, Jay specializes in industrial sales and leasing, land development and build-to-suit sale/leasing developments.  He holds a N.C. Real Estate License.

Jay is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) and has consistently been a member of the CRCBR Multi-Million Dollar Club.  He was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1998.

As the senior broker and department head of the Industrial Services Group, Jay has worked with such clients as Pitney Bowes, Inc., Merrillat Inc., Cargotec, Rooms-to-Go, Leggatt and Platt and Carolina School of Broadcasting.  Most recently Jay represented the City of Charlotte in the purchase of over twenty acres for the relocation of the city’s street maintenance division’s administration and service yard.  Jay also provided tenant representation services for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department in relocating their Charlotte One Precinct.
